Last year, the online store Book Off Online opened in Japan. This isn't your ordinary bookstore, it specializes in used books, CDs, DVDs, comics, magazines, and games. For a greatly reduced price, users can buy and sell their used goods, and the store has been doing quite well since it first came online. A few days ago, they released their top ten most popular Manga sellers, and it turns out that Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter scored in 8th place, ahead of Naruto and Junjo Romantica. Hunter X Hunter sells at this site for ¥300 a volume (Around $2.80 USD/CAD) as opposed to on Amazon, where a volume would cost ¥410 (just a little over a dollar more). Now if only Manga could be this cheap in the rest of the world!
