Hey Moonies! Keep those surveys coming and keep getting the word out about them! We have extended the deadline of the survey until July 31st (and we hope to get at least 500 responses by then). We have finally decided it’s time for Phase Two of our campaign. We have decided to post a few guidelines about what to write and how to write, but we will only be posting the addresses and other information in our forums. This is to ensure they aren’t getting any spam or other letters in their inboxes. This phase involves letters in English. We ask that you please do not post this address information outside our forums. These will be posted in the Campaigns subforum.
- Begin with who you are, where you are from, and that you are a fan of Sailor Moon. If this isn’t meant for the person you are addressing to, ask them to forward it to the right person.
- It’s always a great place to start where you, yourself started. When did you first become a fan of Sailor Moon? What did the characters mean to you back then? Do you have any special memories of the show from when you were young (i.e. you learned the meaning of true friendship thanks to the comradery between the senshi)?
- Then, fast forward to the present. How has the show helped to shape who you are today? How did it inspire you to follow your dreams? Have you had any special achievements in your life that have a connection to something with Sailor Moon?
- Where have you been in the last 5 years without Sailor Moon? What times do you wish it were still around? Were you able to own all of the DVDs you wanted to? Were there other people that you encountered that you wish you could have some episodes to show them to help them get through a bad day etc.?
- What does the show mean to you today, and what would it mean to you if it came back to you today? Forget the fandom for this part, and talk about why you want the show back. Would you like to see it on TV again to reach a new generation of fans? Would you like to have a better distribution structure for the releases?
- And don't forget why you think the show should come back, and why you think it will be a success on TV again if it is given a second chance!
Thank them for their time and their consideration in bringing back the series, and end with your real name. Include your contact information (mailing address and e-mail).

Cant wait to help out with the next part! ^^
I created a thread on Gaia Online along with a poll to see what are on people's minds. Not sure if you can see it without logging in, but I'm hoping to grab more fans attention.
Here is the link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/anime-manga-comics/bring-back-sailor-moon-operation-moonrise-campaign/t.50486661_1/
Thanks Senshi! We really appreciate any effort a fan makes to get the word out. That's been one of our biggest challenges!
Soo... where's this hidden section for addresses? how does one try to find it?
Go to our forums at moonchase.freeforums.org, sign up, and log in. Under the Sailor Moon forums, there's a campaigns subforum. In there is a thread called "Operation Moonrise Phase Two: Letters From Moonspace!" and they are all posted in there!
I love sailor moon with all my heart, so much. i even remember the first time i watched sailor moon. i was 5-6 years old. i was at an Asian market(of course)and i saw this video store that my mom always went to go buy some old Asian films, and there i saw the most prettiest anime (of course i didn't know what anime was) ever in my life. i went to my mom right away and told her i wanted to buy one right now. i was so happy i watched it over and over again, whenever i go the video store i would always buy another video, just because i loved it so much. I wait 2 years until i forget the seasons and watch them over again. the problem is that there are no more seasons of sailor moon. i cant help thinking about it, my friends say im desperately obsessed but i dont care sailor moon was always there when i was little and it still is even when i have a stupid day of school and family. I just get to my computer and just pop in a number of a episode and watch. best thing ever ! i never did this with any tv shows i watched. which proves sailor moon rocks. i know why people don't watch it as much. its because they don't have a chance to watch the new episodes, i mean if you watched the 5th season by mistake you wont want to watch the other episodes before that right ? well yeah, just one more chance for sailor moon. tv shows all over the world and even post some episodes on youtube i bet everyone will be watching the first day. i love sailor moon, and ill bet im not the only one.
It's been so long since I watched this show when it was available to America, that I don't even remember how old I was! I was probably 5-7 yrs. old. I remember owning a couple videos of Sailor Moon S that I always watched over and over, the Cutie Moon Rod toy wand from the second season, and a bunch of SM dolls. (I'm not sure if I had all of them, but I do remember for sure that I had Sailor Pluto, Neptune, and probably Moon) Then when I was out of the Sailor Moon phase we sold all stuff at our garage sale for probably dirt cheap. That was stupid!!! Do you know how much that stuff is worth now!? Anyway, after that I must have completely forgot about the show for like, 7 or 9 years. Now I'm 14 (almost 15) =) and almost a year ago someone on my Youtube channel mentioned it to me. The name "Sailor Moon" rang a bell and then I was like "Oh yeah! I used to be obsessed with that show!" So now after 9 long years, I got to finish watching all 200 episodes in order (on Youtube of course) and I'm afraid to admit, I'm pretty much obsessed with the show again. I'm probably not the only one going through this. Now, the whole spiel with this revival thing. I believe the US should give SM another chance. But there may be some issues. Now that I'm almost 15, I can now tell that the English dubbing was overall, pretty cheesy. And all the cutting out in the first season to make it "age" appropriate was not necessary. if this show does com back, that would be amazing. An entire redub would be nice, but everyone that used to watch this show when it aired is older now and we can't wait "x" amount of years for this anime to get redubbed. If I were in charge of this, I would say give the US the rights to the English dub, and let them re-air it on TV in the original English dubbing that was created for now, so we can at least be satisfied. Then during this time while the audience is rising again, they can start on a redub of the entire series, completely uncut and original. Using the DiC music was actually cool though, so keeping some of the original music and using some of the English music would be cool. If it's done right and at the correct time (now) then this revival of Sailor Moon can really be a hit! it needs to come back!!!!! =)
